Our Story
ISANA began with an appreciation for Indian handicrafts and traditional craftsmanship.
India has a long history of working with bamboo, cane, rattan, grass and other natural materials. Across different regions, artisans have developed distinctive techniques for weaving, shaping and finishing these materials by hand.
We wanted to bring this craftsmanship into contemporary homes.
Our approach is not about reproducing traditional designs exactly as they were. Instead, we take inspiration from Indian craft and natural materials and develop products that work naturally with modern interiors.
